INFO ABOUT Spring 2026

Fall CLASSES START ON THE 26th OF January
Each course is 15 weeks of regular dance classes & 1 theory class = 16 classes in total.

We offer two ways of joining classes online:
1. Live on Zoom (same link each week)
2. Recording of class that can be accessed after the live. The link is shared in a Youtube playlist and whats app group.

CLASS LEVELS

Beginner - You don't have any experience, you have little experience, or you want to start basic.
Intermediate - You have 2-4 years of dance experience.

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

All the classes we teach are in the style of Dancehall that comes from the streets of Jamaica. We have divided the courses as follows:

Female - The part of dancehall that is created and danced by women.
Dancehall - The part of dancehall that is danced by both men and women. It can be Old School, Mid School or New School Dancehall.
Choreo - Focus on Choreography, musicality expression & performance. 1 choreo for 2 weeks, at the end of the second week we film the choreo.
30+ - This class is designed for persons over 30 years. For online participants this is not a strict requirement. The 30+ classes are generally a little more laid back than the other classes.

COURSE THEMES

🥝 Mondays 18.00 - 19.00 FEMALE Beginners 30+
➤ In this class we do female dancehall for women over 30 years. It can be booty, technique, steps, or simple choreography.

🍊Mondays 19.05 - 20.05 FEMALE Intermediate Steps & Technique
➤ Each semester we do steps by three specific Jamaican dancers. You will also learn techniques used in dancehall such as isolations, hips & booty, floorwork, old school groove & more.

🍌Mondays 20.10 - 21.10 FEMALE Intermediate Choreo Crush Thursdays #cct
➤ In this class we will revisit choreographies created by Linda & Johanna.
